Take guided tours on one of the many beautiful trails through the national parkland of the New River Gorge National River. Take an easy ride on the Minden-to-Cunard Trail, cruise along the banks of the New River starting at the old railroad boomtown of Thurmond, or challenge yourself on the single track of the Kaymoor Trail.

Most Popular 1/2 day horseback ride:
Our 3 hour long Coal Mine Trip includes a deli lunch that ran be Served before or after the trip depending on the trip time. We ride 500 feet above the river to an abandoned Coal mine and continue through changing terrain. There are many Places along the trail for beautiful pictures of the gorge and other surroundings. This trip can be scheduled for the evening/ sunset ride. lf the guests choose the evening ride, they have the choice of a deli lunch or a hot dinner. The choices for the hot dinner are barbeque chicken or ribs with salad, vegetable, drink', bread, and dessert.
Minimum age is 11 years old.

All Day Horseback Trips:
Our all day trip is 5 hours long and is an incredibly unique ride
through the National Park System and to a natural cave. This trip
is a combination of the best of all our trips and is sure to please. Included
with this trip is a gourmet dinner served to our guests along the trail
at 1, 000 feet above the river. The choices for dinner are barbeque
chicken or ribs. This trip may depart in the morning or the afternoon,
but the evening trip is encouraged in order for our guests to spend a
leisurely evening while enjoying the sunset.
