Our climbing adventures take place on some of New River Gorge's more than 2000 rock climbing routes. The climbs range from 30 to 120 ft. at all levels of difficulty. Guides will pick an appropriate climbing site and set up the climbing equipment. The guide(s) will instruct the guests in the proper use of the equipment and climbing techniques.

Rappelling is descending a cliff on a fixed rope. This rappel will take place in the same area as the rock climbs. The guide(s) will set up the proper equipment and instruct the guests in its use.

Learn the ropes in either our half-day or all day rock climbing course or our 2 hour Rappelling course. Excellent instruction and spectacular scenery highlight the experience while you learn the basics of climbing in the "Grand Canyon of the East", the New River Gorge National Park. Spend your second day challenging the whitewater of the Lower New River.
